This outfit was made possible by my iPhone and a few of the best fashion apps there are. As you may know, I am arguably addicted to online shopping. The convenience of it, the thrill of filling up my cart and finding promo codes to cut down costs all give me a buyer’s high. I love telling people about great deals I find — most recently I got a DVF top and 7FAM shorts for $8 and I’ll tell you how in another post which I can’t wait to share! Enjoyment aside, online shopping is a mode of survival for busy working moms. The proliferation of shopping apps has changed my online shopping game making things even more accessible. Today, I’m sharing a few of favorite fashion apps, plus a designer jewelry site that I can not stop browsing (and magically happens to be in budget).
Moxy: Featured in the app store as a “Best New App” the weekend it was released means this app is sure to be dangerous! It curates new, must-have pieces from stores like Urban Outfitters, Rag & Bone and Tory Burch that can be made yours with just a few boop-boop-beeps on the phone and ships items out almost as fast as you order. I picked up this hat and poncho on the app while waiting in the lobby of my doctor’s office. Time well spent, no? They’re offering my readers 10% off their first purchase with the use of promo code ANIMAL10. Download it immediately here: get.moxyshop.com.
Shopbop; This app is not new, but is a must-have on any style maven’s home screen. I imagine it’s usage increases significantly during the Shopbop friends and family sale when hopeful shoppers like yours truly have to ensure they score the items they’ve been lusting over for weeks or sometimes, months. For me, it was these sandals and I did order them at 6am while still in bed to ensure I got my size and color preference.
Rocksbox: Like Netflix for jewelry, having Rocksbox is like having a bunch of really generous, super-stylish girlfriends to share jewelry boxes. Each month, Rocksbox sends a curated box of the cutest jewelry with the option to borrow, buy or swap at any time. They have some of my favorite jewelry designers like House of Harlow (how could I not love a company of that name?!) and Gorjana. I actually bought this bracelet which is on heavy rotation.
