Thank goodness it is almost the 4th of July so I can unabashedly wear one of my favorite color combos of all time: red and blue! If you grew up in Tucson in the 90’s, you probably love red and blue too. The Arizona Wildcats won the National Championship in ’97 and it seemed the whole town was red and blue for months after. While I am not a bonafide basketball enthusiast (read: I related to Jess when she called it ‘basketsball’ on New Girl because there are two baskets. Obviously.), the colors red and blue still remind me of that time when all that mattered was middle school musical theater, a few good friends and ice-cream.
Speaking of friends, my girl Tracy (who I grew up with in Tucson!) got me this scarf for Christmas last year. Perfect to throw over outfits this Fourth of July, no? The scarf and this non-maternity dress are from Target. When I saw this dress was less than $30 I had to pick it up and it actually works great as a maternity dress even though it is not meant it. I’m eyeing their maternity t-shirt dress now that I’ve got 4th of July outfits on the brain.
Wearing: Target dress / Target scarf (here’s a 4th of July scarf for you!) / Sole Society booties / Tory Burch bag (similar under $50)
