One of the things that excites me most about starting a family is creating traditions together. Growing up, we wore whatever we wanted on Christmas Day and my enthusiasm for fashion made me vow to ensure that when I grew up, my family would wear matching pajamas. It always felt so festive to me but more than that; it felt traditional.
Now that I have my own little brood, I realize getting four people to wear matching pajamas is no easy feat. Everyone has an opinion (even Gunnar)! I’m happy to get us in some festive pajamas that kind of clash, but still bring us together as we dance around the tree. 🙂 That will be our tradition.
These slippers were sent to me by Chilote House Shoes. They were ethically handmade in Patagonia by independent female artisans. Each pair purchased helps empower the women who make them. Soooo I’m saying they’d make a GREAT Christmas gift! 😉 Their baby slippers are waiting in my cart right now.
