I’ve seen Barbie twice and like most, am highly influenced by the costumes. I am in my ‘Barbie Pink’ era and I see no end in sight. I love how youthful it feels at any age and honestly am here for celebrating my inner child and letting her play dress up when 38-year-old me gets dressed for pilates. Here are a few pieces I have and love or have in my cart and am dreaming about.
I wore this sequin bomber jacket in a reel and I’m not going to say ‘I got so many questions about it’ but it’s a showstopper for sure. I thought about it for way too long before pulling the trigger because it was a bit of a splurge, but I figured I could wear it for a Barbie party we have later this year and to the Taylor Swift Eras tour too so it helped me justify it. I will have this forever.
I snagged these sneakers in black after looking for them everywhere. I am a women’s 6 and got a kids 4 which is a little trick I like to do when women’s shoes are sold out. You can’t do it all the time because the quality, namely the padding and comfort of kid’s shoes are usually not as great as women’s shoes, but in these there is no difference and they were cheaper!
I am loving hologram leggings and sports bra for pilates. When I am sweating in plank, I’ll smile because Barbie pink makes everything more fun.
I have these satin wide leg pants in my cart for an upcoming looooong flight to Italy. I am am anxious flier and it helps me if I am extra comfortable on the plane so there’s a small chance I will sleep.
Speaking of comfort, I am loving these sweatshirts in a larger than typical size to wear over bike shorts especially this one which is in my cart. It is the softest shade of pink with a 70’s twist.
This pink dress was made for summer and would look great with this pink visor that I already have in black. Do I need two visors? Absolutely not, but I am considering it.
This pink tank looks so comfortable, but they are sold out in my size.
I love the shade of this pink set. Not as loud as the hologram pink set above and so dreamy.
I discovered this Barbie bra from Olivia’s Barbie ride on Peloton. She was wearing the BEST set on that ride and I want the full thing, but am not sure I’d really feel comfortable out in public unless it was a Barbie event. Just the bra with a simple legging though? Count me in.
A pair of hot pink leggings from the absolute GOAT of leggings IMO and they are $79 now vs $98. With a hot pink tank which is also the GOAT of tanks. I want every color, but Harlowe keeps stealing them from me so my collection will not grow lol.
