Just before Harlowe’s birthday we got to go see Taylor Swift. I honestly didn’t think we would get thickets, but at the last minute she added a new night to LA so more became available and we were able to snag 3 tickets through Ticketmaster vs the very inflated aftermarket. We decided to surprise to Harlowe since it was just around her birthday and make it her birthday gift which honestly, could you imagine a better gift for a 12-year-old? I could not and thus continues my desire to come back as a Wagner kid.
We were making friendship bracelets one night and I said, “you should make one that says, ‘eras’.” It took her a second and then she flipped out and found it hard to believe we actually pulled this seemingly impossible feat of getting 3 tickets without maxing out credit cards. I had already purchased her a Taylor-worthy top to wear from Urban Outfitters so we didn’t have the
12-year-old angst of what to wear looming over us. I am patting myself on the back for still being able to pick out clothes for her as I know I am on borrowed time with that task which is truly a favorite of mine. I so don’t want it to end. Let me always dress you, Harlowe!
I wore my sequin jacket that I just love too much. I can no longer find my exact jacket on the site, but love this pink jacket because what Summer is it? Barbie Girl Summer. It’s also slightly more versatile in that it could be worn with literally anything unlike my beloved jacket which has a time a place. A time and a place I LOVE.
