After losing my mom in 2008, Mother’s Day became another day to remember and celebrate her life. Although she has been gone for years, it still feels good to celebrate the time we had together and give thanks for the many sacrifices she made for me. I sometimes find myself wishing I had her here celebrate with me, especially after becoming a mom and understanding more about what she did for me while she was here! (Thanks, MOM!!!)
When I met my Mother-in-law, I got a whole new reason to celebrate Mother’s Day. My MIL (I call her mother-in-love) has been such an amazing blessing to my life bringing so much love and light. She creates beautiful memories with Harlowe and is always there to lend a hand when KW and I need someone by our side as we navigate the journey of parenthood together.
I love putting together packages to show loved ones I am thinking of them and find inspiration for gift ideas in too many places.
