Last weekend marked my first time on Melrose Avenue and it was such a trip! I met my friend Brittany for coffee at Alfred’s Coffee which is maybe the hippest coffee place in the world. We saw no less than 8 Taylor Swifts and 3 Adam Levines. Afterward, we walked up and down the famous street admiring the posh shops and trying to act like we had swagger. She snapped these pics of me for a ‘Work it Bloggers’ feature she did on her blog earlier this week <– check it out and then come back.
We got to talking about how photographing someone from below can make your thighs look bigger, but I maintain it makes the subject look taller i.e. leaner. What do you guys think of shooting someone (or having your lovely photos taken) from below?
This moto print blouse is from Bonmot, a San Francisco-based retailer that makes the timeless tops in unexpected prints. The silk is so soft and I just love the cool motorcycles and tulip hem. It’s not maternity, but totally works (for now)!

Wearing: Bonmot shirt sold out (new summer print here!) Old Navy maternity shorts (sold out, similar pair here & non-maternity ones here)/ Steve Madden ankle strap sandals (also love these gladiator sandals & these platforms for spring/summer) Tory Burch bag (similar bag under $50)
Have a great weekend!
