Awhile back, I made a resolution to simplify my closet so I can clear out clutter and focus on building a more sustainable, capsule wardrobe. I donated a lot of my existing wardrobe and vowed to shop less frequently, focusing on purchasing only the most versatile of things when I just had to shop. While simplifying my wardrobe has been liberating in so many ways, there are times you want something fancy and new like when you’re going on vacation, or in my case, going through a huge lifestyle change!
Dressing for a stay-at-home lifestyle when I’m used to dressing for work everyday has made me aware of some gaps in my wardrobe. They don’t necessarily need to be filled, but it’s kind of fun dressing ultra-casual everyday, leaving my blazers and tailored jeans in the closet.
A few weeks ago. I turned to My Endless Wardrobe for personalized selections that fit my current needs. I love what they sent especially these distressed boyfriend/mom jeans that I could never wear to the office. The good news is, I can wear and enjoy these pieces for up to 4 weeks, keep what I like for a discount, and send back the rest for my next box. It’s definitely easier on the wallet and the environment than buying all new clothes and I feel like it’s Christmas when I get my box of goodies. Before you make your next clothing purchase, fill out a style profile at myendlesswardrobe.com use code MEWBethann to get $20 off your first wardrobe. 🙂 Happy un-shopping – you’re going to love it!
