You guys, it’s here. The Nordstrom Anniversary sale! Cardholders can shop starting today. No card? You still get to shop the sale, but you’ll have to wait another week. This is the perfect time to stock up on a few new pieces and I’ve scoured their catalog for hours to select a few lusts and musts in each category. Bottoms: I’m loving these bottom for Fall. While Rag and Bone jeans are tough to compete with, a classic leather skirt and a feminine, patterned A-line skirt are perfectly sweet for ‘no-jeans day’.
Bags: The Rebecca Minkoff bag reminds me of the Chanel Boy bag I’ve been lusting after, but without the price tag. And now $100 off. I also like this Kate Spade envelope bag for summer. The guava color is unexpected and soooo chic!
Cardigans: A closet staple for the girl who always seems to be cold. The red one shown also comes in a few patterns (love this one) that up the ante on your basics. I love a good waterfall cardigan because they’re effortlessly stylish and (TMI alert) they make great breastfeeding cover-up on chilly days. On that note, so would Zella’s draped wrap top.
Shoes: Can a girl ever have too many? I am a sucker for anything studded and lately I’ve been living in flats, so these are in my cart. I’m lusting after the Rag and Bone and Vince boots – they’re both so versatile and would add instant ‘cool-factor’ to any outfit. Joie’s lace-up heels are sexy, but sweet and I’ve been feeling like I may be the only woman in LA who hasn’t added this silhouette to her wardrobe.
Dress: This one would be perfect for desk to dinner days. This cut is flattering on just about everyone and that color is amahhhh-zing.
Lace Romper: I can see this romper getting worn throughout summer, fall and the winter holiday season. There are endless ways to style it. I wish it came in maternity so I could wear it now!
Beauty: Okay, I am a bit of a beauty junkie, but how perfect are the Nars cheek and MAC palettes. They’d make great travel companions and the colors are delicious! If you know me, you know I l-o-v-e YSL lipstains — these three colors are universally flattering. How about this MAC look-in-a-box lip set?
Workout gear: Lately, I can’t get enough patterned workout pants. They make me want to go to the gym and that’s what activewear is for, right? Motivation? 🙂 A good solid top for the gym is a must when your pant collection is on the wild side. I love Nike and Zella’s tops because they fit great, are high-quality and are super moisture-wicking.
