You’ve probably heard that Gap Inc. is closing the door on my beloved go-to, Piperlime. Like most people, I was shocked to hear one of my favorite retailers would soon be no more. Of course, I am saddened by the news. I know, it’s just a store, but where else am I to find purple leopard print dresses, a great selection of bold, mid-length skirts and desk to dinner wardrobe essentials all under one roof? Before they close up shop, I had one last opportunity to collaborate with Piperlime on this post which showcases some of my favorite pieces for the winter-spring transition.
Fortunately, I can wear these mules year-round. (Being in New York this week makes me appreciate the California weather.) The neutral color makes them perfect for spring/summer, plus they get me out of my black shoe comfort-zone. Another great transitional piece is this striped sweater. The soft fabric and nautical stripes make me think ‘sweater weather’ is meant to be forever. I suppose it should be.
