Spring is in 22 more days, but who’s counting? (You caught me!) A new season is the perfect chance to update one’s wardrobe with a few of the latest trends and I’ve selected five of the Spring 2014 trends that I’m simply mad about.
Mesh: I’ve spotted mesh and other athletic wear-inspired pieces everywhere this year. This mesh sleeve shirt is the perfect way to rock the trend if you’re like me and don’t ‘dare to bare’.
Black and White: This high-contrast color combo isn’t going anywhere and I’m okay with that. I am head over heels for this J.Mendel gown first seen on Chanel Iman at the Met Gala last year where she said, ‘I guess this is my punk moment.’
Orange Lips: Orange was the lipstick shade of the season according to Glamour.com. The hue was spotted it at Nanette Lepore, Donna Karan, Prabal Gurung, Christian Siriano, Rag & Bone, and DKNY. Instead of mixing two shades together and then applying, give your pout a few swipes of Nars Heatwave.
Mules: Who knew mules could be sexy? I’ve got my eyes on these Tibi mules due to their sensible heels and lovely embellishment.
Stacking Rings: Accessories on the runways this season were definitely making a statement. Pairing delicate stacking rings with bold conversation starting necklaces and bracelets is the perfect balance plus, delicate rings can be rocked all year!
