As a beauty junkie, this is one of my favorite sales of the year. I have my cart FULL of stuff for months and I buy it all 20% off when it’s game time. I always need to pare down products because I live in a tiny house and all the products I love would fill my whole room. These are the things that I would and do truly use everyday.I initially made this list for a dear friend, but it got out of control so I threw up some old images of me pretending to apply makeup and hit ‘publish’. Also, just because #SponCon is a thing, it’s worth mentioning this is not brand sponsored however, there are some affiliate links soooo I could earn a small commission if you use my links. I hope you find it helpful if you’re shopping the sale which for Rouge starts 4/17 and for VIBs 4/21.
Morning Skincare:
Cleanser
I always want to skip cleansing in the morning but my dermatologist says you CAN NOT DO THAT because you need to wash off the dead cells and turnover crap that comes up at night. Also, I drool in my sleep so gotta get rid of the evidence.
Toner
Why aren’t all toners sprays? I use this with no cotton (zero waste 2020, I’m still sort of coming for you!) and it is just so convenient. As you can tell by the name it has Coenzyme Q10 that protects against environmental stressors. It takes care of the hyaluronic acid which I am just obsessed with and like to sneak it everywhere I can and not actually use it on it’s own because you just have to draw the line somewhere with what you allow on the shelf.
Vitamin C
Slathering on C will brighten your skin and is a MUST on my shelf. This is half the price of the Vitamin C serum that is often hailed as the industry gold standard and it is just as effective.
Lactic Acid Serum
Change the texture with this baby. You will notice your lines are smoother almost instantly.
Eye Cream
I love this brand and really dig this how they’re using peptides aka little messengers, triggering skin cells to perform specific functions such as building collagen and elastin. This eye cream has eight peptides. That’s a lot of power to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Moisturizer
Obviously you can really get away with any moisturizer just use one. If you need a new one though, this tightens pores and smooths skin texture and OMG, emits a subtle, shine-free glow with a touch of 23-karat gold. Thx.
Sunscreen
I wear this everyday even when I am inside. Dr. Howard Murad is the dermatologist who, according to the Daily Mail Newspaper, provides care for skin goddesses Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez. He said that four days of exposure (typical work hours) to computer or cellphone screens, is the same as sitting in direct hot sun for 20 minutes. Yikes.
Evening Skincare:
Cleanse (same as morning)
Serum
Another complexion brighter like the Vitamin C above, but don’t think you can just skip this because corrects dark spots, acne scars, pigmentation, and sun spots AND brightens more than the C. Something about grape vine sap which is 62 times more effective at brightening so have some wine AND use this and you’ll be in a good place.
Eye cream
You can technically use your day cream (which is what I do because #TinyBathroom) but if you’re feeling extra this sleep mask for eyes has some dreamy ingredients that would be super beneficial such as retinol.
Overnight Cream
After age 30, your light daytime moisturizer no longer cuts it at night. As we age, our skin needs more moisture for recovery and sleep is when our skin does the heavy lifting. I love this one and have used it for years because it has one of my favorite ingredients, Hyaluronic Acid which hydrates and plumps skin. I find it helps me feel less like the old hag I feel like some mornings. If you’re going for the minimalistic thing with skin care (WTF is that?!) you can technically use the plumping and firming mask above as a nighttime moisturizer.
Masks:
I mask 2x a week at least. I work from home of course so it’s easier for me to get time in with crap on my face. I get that this is overkill for some people, but if you can, mask 2x do it one time to exfoliate/resurface skin and one time to plump and firm.

Plumping + Firming Mask
Haircare
Whatever products you use that work for you are dandy, but if you need new ones, I love these clean products. The shampoo in particular is lovely for blondes. The conditioner and mask is amazing if like me, your hair tends to be dry and yes, a ‘lil over-processed. Oopsie daisy.

Brushes and Tools
Brushes
There’s a killer deal on brush sets if you do need to add some tools to your arsenal for makeup application. That set will handle every need you could have.
Gua Sha
It feels so good I want to take a break from writing this and go massage my face. I have the jade one, but they all do the same thing: make you feel relaxed AF by releasing muscle tension while visibly lifting and contouring the face.
NuFace
This is a bit of an investment so it’s wonderful to swipe this up on the sale. Over time, this will legit take years off your face if you use it consistently. It’s clinically tested and shown to improve facial contour, tone, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles using micro-current technology that tickles slightly, but is actually quite relaxing. I have the mini (which is actually the perfect size IMO), the Trinity (because was gifted🙏) and the FIX which is wonderful for lines around the lips and eyes. The Trinity is wonderfully luxurious, but you can totally get away with the mini if you want to ease in to micro-current devices.
Makeup
I’m feeling very unmotivated with makeup right now because I am usually bare faced these days, but this is a good time to stock up on clean favorites like RMS, Tarte, Milk and my ride-or-die Luminous Setting Spray.
Supplements
Collagen
Time to get on the collagen train if you are not already. Whatever collagen you can stomach is fine. I like this one because the pills are small. I also put this collagen in my smoothies. It takes about 6 weeks to see a difference, but you will notice shiny hair, glowing skin, and strong nails.
Whoa. A lot. I know. You do not have to use ALL of this to have glowing, supermodel skin, but skincare products tend to work better when used in conjunction with others. I mean, you wouldn’t do a gel manicure without curing the gel or applying a top coat would you? It takes a bit of commitment to have your most incredible skin, but making anything the best it can be is a big undertaking and the results are so worth it.
