Moving in to our new house in Los Angeles shortly after finding out we were expecting a baby boy gave us the perfect opportunity to revamp Harlowe’s room. You may have seen her minimalistic room here before. We wanted to keep the room fairly similar and reached out to Laurel and Wolf for design assistance. After telling them what we already had on hand – and sharing our likes/dislikes – a designer provided a story board of design ideas.
We infused a little animal print in to the room with Harlowe’s sheets and got her a new black and white quilt.
Baby Boy got the crib that coordinates with the bed we already had for Harlowe. I love the grey bedding and it is absurdly soft! I can’t wait to let him rest in it.
We customized these silhouettes online at Le Papier Studio. I couldn’t wait to get one for Baby Boy Wagner, so his is a stock silhouette and ours were made from iPhone photos I sent in.
After the room was designed, we had some extra space (an unheard of occurrence for us!) so I added this rocker which matches one we had for Harlowe.
This cute giraffe nightlight was the result of impulsive Jonathan Adler shopping trip. I loved that this giraffe and Harlowe’s sheets are nods to animals without being overbearing.
Harlowe picked out coordinating brother/sister doggies. The blue one is her gift to her brother, though she doesn’t mind using it a bit before he gets here.
The bed doubles as a stage for impromptu renditions of ‘Let it Go’.
