I’ll use any excuse to get dressed up. A casual office environment and life as a mom means I don’t have many excuses, so I get really excited for just about any holiday. Valentine’s Day dresses started popping up early this year and I couldn’t resist this pencil dress with sleeves. You don’t see short sleeves on a lot of dresses these days, which I think is a real shame. They’re so feminine and classic.
A bright red dress with simple nude pump and delicate jewelry is an elegant combination that can be worn just about anywhere; especially this time of year. Still looking for something special to wear on Valentine’s Day? I’ve joined forces with Serene Sky to give a $25 gift card to one of you lovely gals. Disclaimer: You don’t have to love Valentine’s Day to appreciate $25 bones! I’d have to get this ring for me and this one for one of my cat-obsessed girlfriends if I won. Too bad I can’t enter! You can enter below though. Good luck!
Wearing: Asos dress, Christian Louboutin heels, Karen Walker sunnies, Serene Sky Earrings c/o / Onecklace nameplate / Reiss clutch
Did I mention I don’t have many excuses to get dressed up? Between that and the fact that we will be moving to LA soon (Yes, that’s the news I was excited to share last month!) I’m getting rid of many items I don’t need – this dress happens to be one of them. It’s too tight to wear more than once a year. Shop my Poshmark closet so I don’t have to pack so many things!
