Is anyone else having trouble digesting the fact that today is April 1st? I’ve been running around like a mad woman since Saturday which was, (drum roll, please), move-in day. Fatigue notwithstanding, I am thrilled to finally have the keys to a condo located in a neighborhood that feels very “us” (cute, walkable with great schools, shopping and restaurants). We looked at sooooo many places, I was beginning to think what I wanted didn’t exist, but the LA real-estate market surprised me by meeting all of my expectations in the 11th hour.
Regardless, I don’t like moving! We’ll spend the next few days unpacking what has been in storage since we left the Bay Area. While I thought I had done a bang-up job eliminating unnecessary possessions before we moved, it’s remarkable how much we accumulated these past few years, despite living in just 875 square feet.

As for the look? I was instantly drawn to this popover dress because the two-tiered style is flattering no matter your body type. I like the way it hides my little bump because I don’t like to flaunt it yet. I will get to expose the bump – no matter what I am wearing – very soon and am looking forward to being officially out of that awkward just-looks-really-bloated phase. By looking at this picture, I may have already cleared the ‘bloated-look’ phase!
