You know who gets really excited about Halloween? All. Four. Of. Us. Kaare decided he is only going to do family photo sessions if he gets to wear a creepy costume (I think he thought this would get him out of taking photos?) so now we’re taking the whole family costume thing even more seriously and it’s secretly my dream come true. Who remembers last years Halloween costumes? Obviously, we had to step it up this year (for the kid’s sake of course) and actually, Harlowe picked out the family costume theme this year. She wanted to be Coraline and I don’t blame her. How warm, comfortable and adorbs is this costume? If you haven’t seen the movie, go watch it stat. I don’t want to ruin anything for any of you, but Kaare and I are ‘other mother’ and ‘other father’ and Gunnar is Wybie. To be honest, at 3-years-old he hasn’t fully committed to the whole Halloween costume thing, but he was a good sport for a few photos and I have to give him credit for that. He’s wearing one of Harlowe’s jackets that I put gaffer tape on to make it look like Wybie’s. He also had the skeleton gloves, but he was being very three this day and refused to wear them. š More of our costume details below if you’re interested. This might be my favorite costume yet becauseĀ it’s pretty budget-friendly and most of the pieces you can reuse again especially Coraline’s rain jacket and cuteĀ $15 boots.
